KKOW AM 860 came to Bridgeleaf Studios looking for a website that could handle anything they wanted to add to it. They expressed the need to change and update the website frequently without having to pay a monthly maintenance fee. Bridgeleaf Studios has created a completely new website for KKOW. The website includes a daily poll section that can be changed and updated as frequently as needed. Also included on the website is the ability to update or change virtually any page located within the website. KKOW has the ability through an administrative section to add a completely new page to any section on the site. The website Bridgeleaf Studios has created for KKOW has the look and feel the station wanted to portray to their audience. KKOW has commissioned Bridgeleaf Studios for the development of two other website projects.
860 AM KKOW is your home for Classic Country. It's the best of country music from the '60s, '70s and '80s. You can find all your original favorites on KKOW like Don Williams, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, the Statler Brothers, Roger Miller, Merle Haggard and more!
In addition to your country favorites, KKOW is also your home for local sports. Catch all the play-by-play action of Pittsburg State University and Pittsburg High School football and basketball games. Furthermore, KKOW also covers playoff games for Colgan High School football along with selected baseball playoffs from area schools. You can also hear every Kansas City Royals game on 860 AM.

KKOW provides wall-to-wall coverage during tornado warnings in the primary listening area.
